Aftershocks continue at close intervals in Balıkesir
Following yesterday's 6.1 magnitude earthquake in Sındırgı, Balıkesir, many more aftershocks have occurred. AFAD announced that earthquakes measuring 4.1 and 4.4 in magnitude took place around 19:37 and 19:52, respectively.
According to information on the website of the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD), a tremor with a magnitude of 4.1 was recorded with its epicenter in the Sındırgı district.
It was determined that the earthquake occurred at a depth of 11.9 kilometers.
AFAD announced that another aftershock with a magnitude of 4.4 occurred at 19:52.
