Ahmet Hakan's 'Ahmet Davutoğlu' advice to the government on Syria! 'Whatever he says...'
Hürriyet Editor-in-Chief Ahmet Hakan, known for his proximity to the government, gave 'Ahmet Davutoğlu' advice to the AKP government regarding its Syria policy. Hakan stated, 'Do the opposite of whatever he says.'
Future Party Chairman Ahmet Davutoğlu addressed the AKP government regarding developments in Syria during his party's group meeting.
Listing what needs to be done in Syria, Davutoğlu said, 'Now is not the time for war, but the time for diplomacy. Contact Russia, Iran, America, England, France, and China. Write a letter to the UN and demand the establishment of a transitional government in Syria. A civilian administration should be established in Aleppo immediately. Work for a transitional government, and talk to the regime as well. Kurds should not be excluded either. Do not think of it as being under PYD administration. The Kurds there are sympathetic to Turkey. Unite Syria, do not divide it under any circumstances.'
Hürriyet Editor-in-Chief Ahmet Hakan, known for his proximity to the government, offered 'advice' to the AKP government based on Davutoğlu's statements in his column today.
In the section of his article titled 'Davutoğlu's Syria advice,' Hakan stated, 'Ahmet Davutoğlu has given advice to the government regarding the new situation developing in Syria. I also have some advice for the government: Do the opposite of whatever he says.'
