Ahmet Hamdi Çamlı targets the words of the Great Leader

Following the cancellation of the Super Cup match that was to be played between Super Lig champion Galatasaray and Turkish Cup winner Fenerbahçe in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, reactions have risen from all segments of society.

Saudi authorities' refusal to allow Atatürk posters, the "Peace at home, peace in the world" banner, and Atatürk-themed shirts before the Super Cup match resulted in a decision by the Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe management not to take the field.

Following the crisis, AKP member Ahmet Hamdi Çamlı linked the words of the founder of the Republic, the Great Leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, to the "July 15" coup attempt on X.

Çamlı stated the following:

"We last heard the phrase 'Peace at home, peace in the world' during the July 15 betrayal... Once again, there is a commotion going on..."
