AKP Artvin Youth Branch President dies in traffic accident
Two people died and two were injured in a traffic accident in Samsun. It was stated that one of the deceased was the AKP Artvin Provincial Youth Branch President.
Samsun’s Çarşamba district was the scene of a traffic accident that left 2 people dead and 2 injured.
LOST CONTROL OF THE STEERING WHEEL
The car with license plate 55 AGU 319, driven by Tolgahan Topuz (22), was traveling from Çarşamba toward Samsun when it side-swiped a pickup truck with license plate 58 ES 949, driven by Ü.K., in the Irmaksırtı area, lost control of the steering wheel, and crossed to the opposite side of the divided road.
The car driven by Topuz then collided with a car with license plate 06 DKU 378, driven by AKP Artvin Provincial Youth Branch President Doğukan İslamoğlu (25), which was traveling from Samsun toward Ordu. At that moment, a car with license plate 55 AKC 417, driven by O.B., also struck the car driven by İslamoğlu from behind.
COULD NOT BE SAVED DESPITE ALL INTERVENTIONS
Upon notification, numerous police, medical, and fire department teams were dispatched to the scene of the accident. İslamoğlu and Topuz, who were seriously injured in the accident, along with Nuh Çevik (22) and Ertuğrul Sağlam (26), who were in the vehicle driven by Topuz, were taken to Çarşamba State Hospital by medical teams. Despite interventions at the hospital, İslamoğlu and Topuz could not be saved.
The other injured individuals were transferred to hospitals in the city center.
