The latest election survey conducted by Asal Research has revealed which parties increased their votes and which lost votes, province by province. It was observed that the AKP lost 10 points or more in 18 provinces, while the CHP lost more than 10 points in 3 provinces.
Asal Research has shared the detailed data from its survey titled "If there were a parliamentary election this Sunday, which political party would you vote for?", which was conducted between January 21-29 across 26 provinces in Turkey with the participation of 2,000 people.
The statements by Asal Research Director Adem Belede are as follows:
If there were an election this Sunday, the provinces where the AK Party experienced a loss of votes compared to 2019 in its current municipalities;
10 points and above; Trabzon, Şanlıurfa, Yozgat, Bingöl, Malatya, Sakarya, Erzurum, Karabük, Kahramanmaraş, Elazığ, Kocaeli, Rize, Ordu, Bursa, Balıkesir, Nevşehir, Samsun, Konya. 7-10 points; Adıyaman, Ağrı, Afyonkarahisar, Denizli, Gaziantep, Kayseri, Bitlis, Şırnak. 3-6 points; Aksaray, Çorum, Düzce, Giresun, Gümüşhane, Isparta, Kilis, Kırıkkale, Muş, Niğde, Sivas, Tokat, Uşak, Zonguldak.
"If there were an election this Sunday, the provinces where the CHP experienced a loss of votes. 10 points and above; Adana, Hatay, İzmir. 7-10 points; Ankara, Antalya, Çanakkale, Eskişehir, İstanbul. 3-6 points; Ardahan, Artvin, Aydın, Bilecik, Bolu, Burdur, Edirne, Kırşehir, Mersin, Muğla, Sinop, Tekirdağ, Yalova.
If there were an election this Sunday, the provinces where the İyi Party's votes decreased compared to 2019;
Afyonkarahisar, Balıkesir, Denizli, Düzce, Erzurum, Isparta, Karabük, Kayseri, Kırıkkale, Kocaeli, Konya, Manisa, Sakarya, Samsun, Trabzon, Uşak.
If there were an election this Sunday, the provinces where the DEM Party's (HDP) votes decreased compared to 2019; Batman, Iğdır, Hakkari, Bingöl.
The vote percentages of the parties in the survey conducted by Asal Research at the end of January were as follows:
AKP: 34.8 percent
CHP: 23.2 percent
MHP: 9.7 percent
DEM Party: 9.4 percent
İyi Party: 8.5 percent
New Welfare Party (Yeniden Refah Partisi): 4.8 percent
Victory Party (Zafer Partisi): 3.7 percent
TİP: 2.1 percent
Homeland Party (Memleket Partisi): 0.8 percent
