AKP's Şamil Tayyar evaluates claims of a 'rift in the People's Alliance': There is nothing for the opposition to gain here

Tayyar argued, "Exaggerated meanings were attributed to this photograph, which was associated with the recent İBB operation, and some used it as material for crisis scenarios.

The news of Selahattin Yılmaz's arrest over allegations of an assassination attempt against confessor Aziz İhsan Aktaş was not a surprise to the MHP leadership.

Instead of blocking the judiciary, they preferred 'proving Yılmaz's innocence through the judicial process.' If there is mutual consent, why would there be a rift? On the contrary, our President would not allow it, and Mr. Devlet would not tolerate it. In other words, there is nothing for the opposition to gain from this photograph."

Şamil Tayyar responded to claims of a 'rift in the People's Alliance' in a social media post.

Tayyar's post is as follows:

"Exaggerated meanings were attributed to this photograph, which was associated with the recent İBB operation, and some used it as material for crisis scenarios.

However, the truth of the matter was quite different.

The news of Selahattin Yılmaz's arrest over allegations of an assassination attempt against confessor Aziz İhsan Aktaş was not a surprise to the MHP leadership.

Because they had been informed about it beforehand.

Instead of blocking the judiciary, they preferred 'proving Yılmaz's innocence through the judicial process.'

It is a virtuous act.

In a sense, the operation deepened with mutual consent, and subsequently, former MKE Board Chairman İsmet Sayhan was also taken into custody.

The operation gained a new dimension with allegations of 'industrial espionage.'

Perhaps it may deepen further with new names.

In summary.

If there is mutual consent, why would there be a rift?

On the contrary, our President would not allow it, and Mr. Devlet would not tolerate it.

In other words.

There is nothing for the opposition to gain from this photograph."
