AKP's Şamil Tayyar points to 2 provinces following operations against CHP municipalities! He deleted his post after backlash

The investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office into allegations of corruption within the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IBB) has extended to Adana and Adıyaman.

Adana Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Zeydan Karalar and Adıyaman Mayor Abdurrahman Tutdere were detained in a dawn operation yesterday morning.

Antalya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Muhittin Böcek, who was detained in line with the instructions of the Antalya Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, was arrested yesterday evening.

While reactions poured in against the operations targeting CHP municipalities, former AKP deputy Şamil Tayyar drew attention with a post he made on his social media account.

“The ‘Aziz İhsan Aktaş’ earthquake in the municipalities has shaken the entire country. CHP municipalities are in trouble,” said Tayyar, writing that operations would be carried out in 2 more provinces.

'IT MAY ALSO AFFECT THE NEIGHBOR'

In his post, Tayyar stated, "There may be new surprises. The rupture in the Aktay fault line may also affect the neighbor. 2 provinces are at risk."

Tayyar deleted the post from his social media account following the reactions it received.
