Alarming fire in a 4-story building in Ümraniye
Fire crews intervened in a fire that broke out on the first floor of a 4-story apartment building in Istanbul's Ümraniye district. The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
A fire broke out for an as-yet-undetermined reason in an apartment on the first floor of a 4-story building in the Atatürk neighborhood of Istanbul's Ümraniye district.
Numerous fire and medical teams were dispatched to the scene after the fire spread throughout the apartment in a short time.
NARROW STREET CAUSED DIFFICULTIES
Due to the narrowness of the street, firefighters were unable to use the fire ladder on the fire truck.
Extinguishing crews intervened in the fire by placing a portable ladder onto a shop located at the entrance of the building.
The flames were brought under control as a result of the intervention by the fire crews.
