The fire started for an as-yet-undetermined reason in the basement of a 5-story apartment building located on Kale Street in the Altınşehir neighborhood.
Upon notification, numerous fire, police, and medical teams were dispatched to the area.
Medical personnel provided treatment in ambulances to 10 people who were affected by smoke.
Fire crews brought the fire under control and extinguished it.
Cooling efforts are ongoing in the building.
