Ali Koç tension between Uğur Dündar and Cemal Enginyurt! 'Stop right there, or we'll fall out!'
A debate over Ali Koç took place between Fenerbahçe High Council Board President Uğur Dündar and Democrat Party Deputy Chairman Cemal Enginyurt. When Enginyurt claimed that Ali Koç had threatened Erden Timur, Dündar intervened, warning him by saying, "I won't let anyone speak ill of Ali Koç. Stop right there, or we'll fall out."
On the program Sözün Gücü (The Power of the Word) hosted by Ece Üner on Sözcü TV, Democrat Party Deputy Chairman Cemal Enginyurt recalled the words Fenerbahçe President Ali Koç said about Erden Timur, "Think of me every night when you go to bed, especially when your presidency ends," and stated, "The language of threats should not be used."
As Enginyurt continued his speech, Fenerbahçe High Council Board President Uğur Dündar intervened.
Telling Enginyurt to "Stop right there," Dündar warned him, saying, "I will not let anyone speak ill of Ali Koç in my presence. I know Ali Koç closely; I wish there were a thousand Ali Koçs in Turkey. Stop right there, or we'll fall out."
Enginyurt asked, "What did Ali Koç say, isn't that a threat?" Uğur Dündar replied, "Forget about that for now. It's not a threat. Ali Koç gives the answer to those who deserve it. We don't provoke anyone for no reason. When provoked, the answer is given. I won't let anyone speak ill of Ali Koç here. Period! Please close the Ali Koç subject."
