Ali Yerlikaya shares the grim toll: 22 people have lost their lives
On the third day of the Eid al-Adha holiday, 6 people lost their lives and 1,327 were injured in 824 traffic accidents. The number of people who have lost their lives due to traffic accidents in the first 3 days of the holiday has risen to 22.
Minister of Interior Ali Yerlikaya made a statement regarding the traffic accidents that occurred during the first 3 days of the Eid al-Adha holiday.
On the third day of the holiday, 824 traffic accidents occurred. In these accidents, 6 people lost their lives and 1,327 people were injured.
Stating that a total of 22 people have lost their lives in traffic accidents since the first day of the holiday, Yerlikaya issued warnings to citizens.
“Please do not speed,” said Yerlikaya, adding, “Let us not neglect to wear seat belts in our vehicles and on buses. Let us obey traffic rules.”
