Ali Yerlikaya: 'We are in a total struggle against forest fires'
Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced in a post on X that the '2024 Forest Fire Fighting Preparedness Meeting' was held, hosted by Minister of Agriculture and Forestry İbrahim Yumaklı and attended by the governors of 23 provinces.

Yerlikaya shared a post on X regarding the meeting, which was also attended by Minister of Agriculture and Forestry İbrahim Yumaklı and the governors of 23 provinces.
Ali Yerlikaya included the following statements in his post:
"We have taken important steps to increase our capacity to fight forest fires, and we continue to do so. Under the leadership of our President, we are in a total struggle, ranging from the number of air and land vehicles to increasing the number of personnel, and involving everything from public institutions and organizations to civil society structures."
