Aliağa Municipality CHP Group Spokesperson Doğangül's 'Cemil Bayık' gaffe. MHP group spokesperson issues warning
Aliağa Municipality CHP Group Spokesperson İbrahim Doğangül referred to the İzmir Metropolitan Municipality Mayor as "Cemil Bayık" during a council meeting. Doğangül also alleged that the ship recycling sector, which employs thousands of people, is a "hub for drug trafficking."
Following the election of MHP's Serkan Acar as Mayor of Aliağa for the third time in the March 31 elections, the second session of the Municipal Council was held.
The heated Municipal Council meeting was marked by CHP Council Group Spokesperson İbrahim Doğangül referring to İzmir Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Cemil Tugay as "Cemil Bayık," one of the ringleaders of the separatist terrorist organization.
MHP GROUP SPOKESPERSON ISSUES WARNING
CHP Group Spokesperson İbrahim Doğangül requested the floor at the end of the session, where the municipality's annual report was being discussed, stating he had wishes and requests.
Doğangül began his remarks by saying, "Yesterday or the day before, our Metropolitan Mayor Cemil Bayık," using the name of one of the blood-stained ringleaders of the separatist terrorist organization.

The CHP council member's gaffe caused astonishment in the hall.
The person who reminded the CHP council member that the İzmir Metropolitan Municipality Mayor's name is Cemil Tugay was MHP Group Spokesperson Lawyer Hilal Sadıkoğlu Akar. MHP Group Spokesperson Lawyer Hilal Sadıkoğlu Akar said, "Tugay, that is his surname."
CHP Group Spokesperson İbrahim Doğangül then made drug-related allegations regarding the ship recycling sector, where thousands of workers are employed.

A citizen watching the council meeting reacted to the CHP council member by saying out loud, "Such an allegation does not suit you. There is no drug trafficking."
