TBMM SPEAKER TO BE ELECTED ON JUNE 3
Due to the expiration of the term of office of TBMM Speaker Numan Kurtulmuş, an election for the presidency will be held for the second term of the 28th Legislative Period. This election is scheduled to take place on June 3, in accordance with the Constitution and the Rules of Procedure of the Parliament.
The members of the TBMM Presidential Council who will serve in the new term are expected to be finalized on June 11. The elections for committee chairmanships are projected to be held on Thursday, June 12.
