It has been claimed that an assassination attempt was made against Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) leader Mazlum Abdi in the Syrian city of Qamishli. According to information obtained from local sources, it is stated that Abdi survived the attack.

AN INTERNAL SETTLING OF SCORES WITHIN THE PKK TERRORIST ORGANIZATION?

Following the surrender of the Syrian Democratic Forces in Syria to the Syrian government, it is suggested that an internal settling of scores within the PKK may be behind the assassination attempt on Abdi. According to Syrian sources, it is stated that some terrorists who are uncomfortable with recent developments within the PKK have targeted Mazlum Abdi.

ATTACKERS CAPTURED 

Following the assassination attempt, information was also provided regarding the identity of the attacker. According to the claim, the attacker's name was Mahmud Rash, and he was captured by US soldiers in the region. The capture of the attacker took place as a result of investigations conducted by security forces in the area following the incident.

AGREEMENT REACHED WITH HTS 

Finally, on Monday, the Syrian Democratic Forces, which form the backbone of the YPG/PKK, signed an agreement with the leader of the Syrian Interim Government, Ahmed Shara.
