Another denial of transfer rumors: Bozdoğan Mayor Özel says 'my agenda is service'

Bozdoğan Mayor Mustafa Galip Özel has clarified the allegations that he would change parties. Strongly rejecting the claims of changing parties, Mayor Özel said: "The allegations made about me that I am 'switching to the AK Party' are completely baseless, intentional, and consist of cheap gossip. Those who spread these rumors are circles seeking political gain who are trying to overshadow the services we provide in Bozdoğan. I am saying this clearly and plainly. 

I was a candidate for the Republican People's Party (CHP), I was elected with the support of my people, and I continue to carry out my duties in my party, for my people. My understanding of politics is not to follow someone else or to chase personal agendas. My only concern and my only agenda is Bozdoğan. Together with my council members, we have been touching every neighborhood for 1.5 years, producing services without discrimination. We are looking for solutions for our farmers experiencing drought, and we are adding value to our district with projects we have implemented with our own resources.

No matter what anyone says, my agenda was service yesterday, it is service today, and it will continue to be service tomorrow," he said, stating that the claims of him switching to another party were baseless.
