Another report of a child death... 2 children found shot with a handgun

An incident in which two young girls lost their lives occurred around 13:00 on Cennet Street in the Bahçelievler neighborhood of Tekirdağ's Marmaraereğlisi district.

After 15-year-old Yağmur E., who worked at a hair salon, did not go to work, her friends notified her family.

The father, a construction worker, and the mother, who works at a textile factory, asked their upstairs neighbor for help when they could not reach their daughter.

The neighbor, who entered the house with a spare key provided by the family, found Yağmur E. and her friend Kübra Rabia Y. on the floor covered in blood. Upon notification, police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene.

TWO CHILDREN COULD NOT BE SAVED

Medical teams determined that Yağmur E. had lost her life at the scene. Kübra Rabia Y., who was taken to Marmaraereğlisi State Hospital in critical condition, could not be saved despite all interventions. Yağmur E.'s body was taken to the morgue of the same hospital.

INVESTIGATIONS AT THE SCENE CONTINUE

The prosecutor's office and police teams conducted detailed examinations at the scene. The investigation launched into the cause of the young girls' deaths is ongoing.
