Apartment fire in Antalya! Those trapped were rescued

A fire that broke out in the storage area of a 4-story apartment building located on 1054 Street in the Aşağı Pazarcı neighborhood of Manavgat district put the fire department on alert. Upon receiving a report at the 112 Emergency Call Center that a fire had broken out in the apartment and that people were trapped on the upper floors, firefighting teams took action but struggled to reach the scene due to vehicles parked along the street leading to the building. The firefighters got off their trucks and ran to the building where the fire was located.

FIREFIGHTERS RESCUED THOSE TRAPPED

While the firefighters intervened in the blaze, citizens trapped on the upper floors were brought down with the help of a ladder truck. The citizens who were brought down, as well as those affected by smoke while trying to intervene in the fire with their own means, received initial treatment from 112 Emergency Health teams who arrived at the scene. After the fire was extinguished, cooling efforts were carried out by the teams, and it was determined that some of the shoes inside the boxes in the shoe storage area had been damaged.
