Argued with his girlfriend: He set 5 vehicles on fire!

In the Pamukkale district of Denizli, vehicles and trash containers were set on fire one after another during the night in the Fesleğen, Mehmetçik, and İstiklal neighborhoods. Upon notification, fire crews were dispatched to the area, and 2 motorcycles, 3 light vehicles, and several trash containers located in the neighborhood were extinguished.

Initial investigations by the fire crews determined that the vehicles had been set on fire using flammable substances.

Police teams identified the suspect who set the vehicles on fire as Specialist Sergeant İbrahim G. (29).

İbrahim G. was taken into custody by police teams.

It was learned that İbrahim G., who was found to be intoxicated, stated in his testimony at the police station that he had argued with his girlfriend and, for this reason, first set fire to his girlfriend's motorcycle and then to the other vehicles by pouring flammable substances on them.
