Armed attack in Beylikdüzü... Investigation launched
Baran Yusuf Dağdeviren, who was subjected to an armed attack by individuals with whom he had a feud in Beylikdüzü, Istanbul, lost his life as a result of a traffic accident while attempting to drive to the hospital. Police teams have launched an investigation into the incident.
In the incident that occurred around 04:00 in the morning in the Adnan Kahveci neighborhood of Istanbul's Beylikdüzü district, Baran Yusuf Dağdeviren was targeted by an armed attack by individuals with whom he had a feud for reasons yet to be determined. Deciding to reach the hospital on his own despite being wounded, Dağdeviren got into his car and set off.
However, upon reaching Yavuz Sultan Selim Boulevard, Dağdeviren lost control of his vehicle due to the effects of his severe injuries. The car first struck parked vehicles and then crashed into a wall. Following the accident, Dağdeviren was trapped in the vehicle, having lost consciousness.
Citizens in the vicinity removed Dağdeviren from the vehicle immediately after the incident and notified medical teams and the police. Dağdeviren, who received initial intervention from paramedics arriving at the scene, was transported to the hospital. Examinations conducted by doctors revealed that the young man had been shot in the abdomen with a firearm.
Despite all interventions at the hospital, Baran Yusuf Dağdeviren could not be saved and lost his life, while police teams have launched a comprehensive search and investigation to apprehend the person or persons who carried out the attack.
