Armed attack with a pump-action shotgun on Serik Municipality!

The municipal building in the Serik district of Antalya was shaken by an armed attack that occurred in the early hours of the morning. A person identified as Ş.D., who arrived in front of the municipal building on a motorcycle at an early hour, fired five shots in succession at the building with a pump-action shotgun he was carrying. As a result of the attack, material damage occurred to the glass at the entrance door and the cashier section of the municipal building.

It was reported that the suspect fled the scene after the incident, leaving his motorcycle behind. Shortly after, municipal police personnel working at the municipality notified the police. As a result of an operation carried out by police teams, the attacker, identified as Ş.D., was apprehended and taken into custody.

It has been learned that the investigation into the incident is ongoing.
