Armed attack on uncle and nephew in coffeehouse: 2 dead

In the Devrekani district of Kastamonu, a man opened fire on an uncle and his nephew, with whom he had a feud over a marriage proposal, inside a coffeehouse.

The uncle and nephew lost their lives in the armed attack, and the perpetrator was taken into custody by police teams.

The incident occurred at a coffeehouse on Demirciler Street in the Kurt Şeyh Neighborhood of Devrekani.

According to the information obtained, a fight broke out in the town center between Murat K. and Muzaffer Üstüner (65) and his nephew Adem Üstüner (45), who had a feud due to a marriage proposal issue. Local citizens intervened and calmed the fight.

A short while later, Murat K. took a weapon and approached Muzaffer Üstüner and his nephew Adem Üstüner, who were sitting in the coffeehouse.

Murat K., who opened fire on Muzaffer Üstüner and his nephew Adem Üstüner, then surrendered to the police teams that arrived at the scene.

Muzaffer Üstüner and his nephew Adem Üstüner lost their lives at the scene of the armed attack.

Following the incident, police teams took security measures in the area and conducted an investigation.

After the examination by the Public Prosecutor and Crime Scene Investigation teams, the bodies of Muzaffer and his nephew Adem Üstüner were taken to the morgue of Devrekani State Hospital.

Following the incident, relatives of the Üstüners arrived at the crime scene and suffered nervous breakdowns. The relatives of the Üstüners who suffered nervous breakdowns were taken to Devrekani State Hospital by medical teams.
