Arrest request for Mehmet Akif Ersoy in drug operation: He had been suspended from duty
The prosecutor's interrogation of journalist Mehmet Akif Ersoy, who was detained as part of a drug operation, has concluded. Ersoy has been referred to court with a request for his arrest.
Habertürk TV General Broadcasting Director Mehmet Akif Ersoy, Real Estate Expert Ufuk Tetik, Mustafa Manaz and Ebru Gülan were referred to the Duty Magistrate's Judge with a request for their arrest.
Elif Kılınç, Gizem Aybaktı, Dilara Yıldız, Buse For Öztay as well, an internationaltravel banwas requested as a form of judicial control.
