A new wave of operations has been carried out as part of a drug investigation conducted by the Istanbul Anatolian Chief Public Prosecutor's Office targeting famous figures. Within the scope of this operation, detention warrants were issued for 26 people, and arrest warrants were issued for 10 people. Famous TikTok phenomenon Yaren Alaca was among those for whom an arrest warrant was issued.

FAMOUS FIGURES DETAINED

Among the names for whom detention warrants were issued as part of the investigation are famous figures such as YouTube phenomenon Hasan Can Kaya, Reynmen, Ebo, Çakal, and Berkcan Güven. In addition to these individuals, it was stated that an arrest warrant was issued for TikTok phenomenon Yaren Alaca.

Following the issuance of the arrest warrant, it emerged that Yaren Alaca had left the country. It was learned that Alaca, whose name was mentioned in the investigation, had gone to the US around the time the operation took place. It was noted that Alaca is in California and has been posting frequently on social media. It was also stated that footage of her leaving the airport has been added to the investigation file.

"I WENT FOR LANGUAGE TRAINING" STATEMENT

TikTok phenomenon Yaren Alaca stated that her trip to the US was for the purpose of receiving language training. In a statement she made following the news reports about her, Alaca used the expression, "I went to the US for language training purposes."
