Asu Kaya's reaction to 'digital deletion': You can never erase our struggle

CHP Women's Branch Chair Asu Kaya has issued a comprehensive statement on her social media account regarding recent developments within the party and allegations of interference in digital platforms. Kaya described the removal of the names of the Women's Branch Central Executive Board (MYK) members from the official website as "the clearest registration of incompetence."

Reminding that they are an administration elected by the votes of the delegates, Kaya stated that these moves would not break the field power of the women's organization. Kaya used the following expressions: "You may delete our names from digital panels and surround buildings, but you can never erase the struggle of our women's organization, whose hearts beat for justice across every corner of Anatolia and who pace the streets."

Stating that they continue their path under the leadership of Chairman Özgür Özel and that they are standing tall without deviating even a millimeter, Kaya emphasized that they derive their legitimacy from the streets. Kaya continued her statement with these words:

"We do not derive our legitimacy from the AKP's judicial arms; we derive it from the will of our Republican People's Party Women's Branches, who resist in the fields, factories, homes, and streets. We will surely settle accounts before history with those who see themselves above the law and those who act as extras for them. Our path is long, our burden is heavy, but our faith is complete. We will walk by uniting and without pausing for even a moment."
