Ataşehir Mayor Onursal Adıgüzel referred to the courthouse

As part of an investigation conducted by the Istanbul Anatolian Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, an operation was carried out regarding bribery allegations involving Ataşehir Mayor Onursal Adıgüzel and several figures from the municipal administration.

HIGH-LEVEL NAMES ALSO ON THE LIST

In the investigation, it was alleged that deputy mayors Birkan Birol Yıldız, Orhan Aydoğdu, and Oğuz Kaya, as well as relevant department heads and municipal personnel, committed irregularities in tender, zoning, and occupancy permit procedures.

POLICE PROCEDURES COMPLETED

The police procedures for a total of 20 people detained as part of the operation, including the mayor, have been completed.

REFERRED TO THE COURTHOUSE

Following health checks, the suspects were referred to the Istanbul Anatolian Courthouse.
