Attack on police attempting to apprehend fugitive

(29), who had received a finalized 21-year prison sentence for drug trafficking, was in the Şehit Erkut Akbay neighborhood. The police raided the neighborhood to apprehend the convict. However, when the convict's relatives and bystanders attacked the police, Engin D. attempted to flee. Upon this, the police shot Engin D. in the legs and apprehended him.
