Attention Ankara residents! Some roads will be closed to traffic for November 10
The Ankara Police Department has announced that due to the programs to be held for the 85th anniversary of the passing of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, some roads in the city may be closed to vehicle traffic starting from 9:00 PM on the evening of November 9, if deemed necessary.
The Ankara Police Department announced that "due to the programs to be held on Friday, November 10, on the occasion of the 85th anniversary of the passing of the founder of our Republic, Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, some roads will be closed to traffic, if necessary, starting from 9:00 PM on Thursday, November 9, until the end of the programs."
The statement regarding the roads to be closed is as follows:
"GMK Boulevard, Anıt Street, Gençlik Street, Akdeniz Street, Mareşal Fevzi Çakmak Street, Dögol Street, Sporpark Street, the side variants of Kazım Karabekir Street connecting to Celal Bayar Boulevard, the side variants of Celal Bayar Boulevard connecting to Kazım Karabekir Street, the section of Kazım Karabekir Street between Anadolu Square and Celal Bayar Boulevard, and all roads connecting to these will be closed to vehicle traffic in both directions; it is announced to the public and the press that our citizens should use public transportation to avoid any inconvenience."
