Attention Istanbul residents: These roads are closed to traffic today! Here are the alternative routes...

The Istanbul Governor's Office has announced the roads that will be closed to traffic and the alternative routes due to the August 30 Victory Day rehearsals and ceremony program in the city. As of 05:45 today, Adnan Menderes Boulevard has been closed to traffic in both directions until the end of the rehearsal.

The roads that will be closed to traffic from 05:45 until the end of the program on these two days as part of the "103rd Anniversary Celebrations and General Rehearsal of August 30 Victory Day" are listed as follows:

Adnan Menderes Boulevard (Vatan Street) in both directions, entrances to Adnan Menderes Boulevard from the D-100 north and south directions, entrances to Adnan Menderes Boulevard from 10th Year Street, entrances to Adnan Menderes Boulevard from Edirnekapı, entrances to Adnan Menderes Boulevard from Oğuzhan Street, entrances to Adnan Menderes Boulevard from Sofular Street, entrances to Adnan Menderes Boulevard from Halıcılar Street, entrances to Adnan Menderes Boulevard from Akdeniz Street, entrances to Adnan Menderes Boulevard from Akşemsettin Street, entrances to Adnan Menderes Boulevard from Ordu Street and Atatürk Boulevard, i.e., from Aksaray, entrances to Adnan Menderes Boulevard from Keçeci Meydan Street, entrances to Vatan Street coming from the south of the Hal Road, all streets and avenues leading to Adnan Menderes Boulevard, access from Tatlıpınar Street to Vatan Street, access from Kaleboyu Street to Vatan Street, and access from Sulukule Street to Vatan Street will be closed.
The alternative routes were announced as "Turgut Özal Millet Street, Fevzipaşa Street, Atatürk Boulevard, D-100 Highway, and O-3 Hal Road."
