Ayşe Ateş once again calls out Ministers Tunç and Yerlikaya: 'Enough is enough'

Sinan Ateş's wife, Ayşe Ateş, stated in a post on her social media account that Burak Bekiroğlu has been threatening her.

In her post, Ateş addressed Minister of Justice Yılmaz Tunç and Minister of Interior Ali Yerlikaya, saying, "Do not allow a second 'Chronicle of a Death Foretold' to happen in this country. Do not leave my children orphans."

Ayşe Ateş's post is as follows:

"Enough is enough!

My Honorable Minister of Justice Yılmaz Tunç, my Honorable Minister of Interior Ali Yerlikaya!

In previous days, I made a call to our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, stating that they are applying the same process to me that they applied to my husband, Sinan Ateş. Following this call, our state provided me with two close-protection armed guards. When our President accepted me and my daughters, I expressed to him that although I had been provided with police protection, I was not certain that these individuals would not point their barrels at the state's police, and that I was afraid."

"WHY ARE THE DOCUMENTS IN HIS POSSESSION NOT BEING REQUESTED?"

"My Honorable Ministers, I submit to your attention:

An individual named Burak Bekiroğlu is publicly naming, one by one, those who ordered this heinous murder committed in broad daylight in the heart of Ankara. He is targeting me and making threatening statements. He is slandering me and my husband, Sinan Ateş, by calling us FETÖ members.

He is making insinuations regarding the slander that my husband, Sinan Ateş, previously incited murder. Why are these posts not being accepted as a report and why is he not being called to testify; why are the information and documents in his possession not being requested, and why is he not being heard in the status of a witness?

As I expressed to our President: 'We are two honest, honorable, patriotic civil servants who have served this state. Our foreheads are clear, our faces are clean. Our loyalty to our state is infinite and unquestioning. If deemed necessary, let a security investigation be conducted regarding both my murdered husband, Sinan Ateş, and myself. Let the truth come out.'"

"DO NOT LET A SECOND CHRONICLE OF A DEATH FORETOLD HAPPEN"

My Honorable Ministers, I submit to your attention again and again:

Two and a half years ago, they started this process for my murdered husband, Sinan Ateş: discrediting with FETÖ slanders, open threats on social media, and then an assassination in the middle of the street, in broad daylight!

My Honorable Ministers,

Do you not see what is coming? These people fear neither the security forces nor justice. Accept what they write as a report. Call them, listen to them, and demand proof of their claims. If he has the slightest bit of evidence regarding the claims he has made about me, Sinan, and this assassination, let him present it. If not, let whatever is legally necessary be done.

We are tired and exhausted from the insinuating posts, insults, and slanders!

We are tired of living with the anxiety of being killed at any moment!

Say "Stop!" to them now.

I beg you:

Do not allow a second "Chronicle of a Death Foretold" to happen in this country.

Do not leave my children orphans.
