Ayşe Ateş visits Meral Akşener

Ayşe Ateş, the wife of Sinan Ateş who was assassinated in Ankara, visited Meral Akşener, the former leader of the İYİ Party. In a post on her social media account, Ateş stated, "Ms. Akşener reiterated that she will stand by us with all her being, under any circumstances, until this vile assassination—which she has viewed and approached as being above politics since the very first day—is solved."

Ayşe Ateş visits Meral Akşener

Ayşe Ateş, the wife of former Ülkü Ocakları President Sinan Ateş, who was assassinated in Ankara approximately a year and a half ago, visited the Founding Chair of the İYİ Party, Meral Akşener.

Sharing photos from the visit, which took place on the last day of the holiday, Ateş said, "Ms. Akşener approached me with the love of an older sister and my daughters with the affection of a mother, as she always does."

Ayşe Ateş's post is as follows:

"On the fourth day of Eid al-Adha, my daughters Bengisu and Banuçiçek and I were guests at the home of İYİ Party Founding Chair Ms. Meral Akşener and her esteemed husband, Mr. Tuncer. My dear elders hosted us with great hospitality. Ms. Akşener approached me with the love of an older sister and my daughters with the affection of a mother, as she always does. She reiterated that she will stand by us with all her being, under any circumstances, until this vile assassination—which she has viewed and approached as being above politics since the very first day—is solved.

In your presence, I once again convey my endless love and respect to her."
