Baby sarcophagus found in a vehicle in Eskişehir
In the Seyitgazi district of Eskişehir, gendarmerie teams discovered an object in a suspect's vehicle that is believed to be a baby sarcophagus, measuring 25 centimeters in width, 65 centimeters in length, and 36 centimeters in height. The artifact has been taken into protective custody and is being examined to determine which civilization it belongs to.
Provincial Gendarmerie Command teams received information that a suspect in Seyitgazi was in possession of historical artifacts and was attempting to sell them. Upon searching the individual's vehicle, the teams discovered the object, which is believed to be a baby sarcophagus measuring 25 centimeters in width, 65 centimeters in length, and 36 centimeters in height.
The artifact has been taken into protective custody, and an investigation has been launched to determine which civilization it belongs to.
Legal proceedings have been initiated against the suspect for violating the Law on the Protection of Cultural and Natural Property.
