Bahçeli's 'Do not open the Republic to debate' outburst! 'I am warning everyone...'

The Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) is celebrating its 57th anniversary at an event held at the ATO Congresium in Ankara.

MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli delivered striking messages during the program.

THANKS TO ERDOĞAN FOR THE 'FLOWERS'

My dear Grey Wolves and Asenas, symbols of nobility, courage, and resilience... I greet you all with the utmost respect in the mirror of the Nationalist Movement Party, which has been united as one heart with its principles and country for 57 years. I say welcome to all of you. I convey my thanks and gratitude to Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan for the flowers he had prepared and sent on the occasion of the 57th anniversary of the Nationalist Movement Party.

We were shot. We endured the frost in difficult and harsh years. We were heartbroken while carrying the coffins of martyrs on our shoulders in mosque courtyards. But we did not succumb to oppression. We did not succumb to humiliation. We did not give up or say 'enough' to ambushes, games, and traps. Even if one of us left, another filled their place. We are the same today as we were yesterday. We are the Nationalist Idealist Movement, which carries the honor of belonging to the Turkish Nation with the noble blood in its veins. To be a Nationalist Idealist, it will not be enough to just appear as if you love the nation.

"POLITICAL CONVERTS, WHO ARE YOU?"

We are Turkish nationalists, Turanists, and Turkish nationalists whose source is found in the Turkish-Islamic ideal, just as we were on the first day. And you political converts who question us here and there, who are you? You are not conservative, you are not democratic; at best, you are complete political opportunists, and indeed you have been. Even if they were in our caravan in the different lanes of these 57 years, those who ran here and there at the first storm have made their choice.

'EMPHASIS ON COMMITMENT TO THE ALLIANCE' 

We are as Turkist as we were on the first day; we have not deviated from our ideal. The future hope of Turkey and the Turkish nation is the MHP and the People's Alliance. While building the Turkish and Turkey Century step by step with the morality and spirit of this historic alliance, our main goal is for peace, tranquility, prosperity, freedom, human rights, democracy, and solidarity to prevail and be felt. The establishment and manifestation of a terror-free Turkey is the crowning of this goal.

'PROCESS' MESSAGE

Achieving the goal of a terror-free Turkey will come to life with the dynamism and resilience of national solidarity. From now on, it will be possible to reach the goal of a Terror-Free Region. Because Turkey is the center of gravity not only for our region but for the world. There is a need to awaken the National Conscience. This is what we aim to do today. The conscience of our nation, of which we are proud, is one. It is impossible to smear one with two or divide one with two. The Turkish Nation, with its Turks and Kurds, will carry its victorious past into the future. This transfer will certainly be realized.

"DO NOT OPEN THE REPUBLIC TO DEBATE"

With the experience of 57 years, I am warning everyone: To open the founding principles and structure of the Republic to debate; to try to destroy them based on ethnic differences is equivalent to plotting against the existence of the state. The name for this is treason."
