Bahçeli's warning on the 'opening process' in his October 29 message: 'Against open or secret provocations...'

MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli issued a written statement on the occasion of the October 29 Republic Day.

In his message, Bahçeli drew attention to the new opening process, referred to as a 'Terror-Free Turkey,' and stated, “With the realization of the goal of a Terror-Free Turkey, our country and our nation will leave their mark on a new century reinforced with peace, stability, modernity, and prosperity.”

“A PERMANENT SPRING ATMOSPHERE WILL COME”

The MHP leader argued that the complete elimination of the separatist terrorist organization would bring a period of lasting peace and prosperity to Turkey. Bahçeli used the expressions, “This will undoubtedly have positive and noteworthy reflections on our region as well.”

“ONE MUST BE CAREFUL AGAINST PROVOCATIONS”

In his statement, Bahçeli said, “It is beneficial to always be prepared and cautious against the open or secret provocations of circles that are intimidated by peace and brotherhood and are therefore waiting in ambush to sow discord.”

“A Terror-Free Turkey is the sign of the founding spirit of the Republic, its founding philosophy, the national victory born from the suffering and hardships endured during the years of the National Struggle in the new century, and a symbol of the rise of Turkish-Kurdish brotherhood.”

"We celebrate the 102nd anniversary of the founding of our Republic, which is the summary and certificate of success of our struggle for liberation, with great pride and happiness.

The Republic of Turkey is the final link in the chain of Turkish states that have appeared on the stage of history, which have inseparable ties between them, and where the fallen are joined with the newly established, and which will exist until eternity.

The first century of our Republic has been left behind, and the second year of its second century has been reached with a spirit of resurrection that inspires admiration and the accompaniment of high goals.

Before us lie the vivid, bold, and courage-filled hopes of the Turkish and Turkey Century, unfolding layer by layer.

On one hand, the deep-rooted, grounded, and established eye-catching institutional structure of the Presidential Government System, which has woven the life of the state and society stitch by stitch, and on the other hand, the pride-worthy development of our national unity and brotherhood, which deepens and expands the environment of internal peace and tranquility, add strength to our power.

The product of this power is becoming evident as the harbinger of a great Turkey whose reputation is rising and whose will is flourishing in its region and in the global arena.

Moreover, with the realization of the goal of a 'Terror-Free Turkey,' our country and our nation will leave their mark on a new century reinforced with peace, stability, modernity, and prosperity.

The state of the Republic of Turkey is much more effective today, and its path and fortune are much more open compared to the past.

We have no future, and consequently no national reality, to be surrendered to darkness, chaos, confusion, strife, or the fear and anxiety encompassed by polarization.

In the second year of the new century, with the goal and effort of a 'Terror-Free Turkey,' the imperialist shackles placed on our feet will be broken, and our eternal and everlasting brotherhood will crystallize in the balance of a common destiny and become an inseparable/indivisible whole.

The complete end of the separatist terrorist organization will bring a permanent spring atmosphere to our country, and this will undoubtedly have positive and noteworthy reflections on our region as well.

Of course, the existence of domestic and foreign circles that are uncomfortable with the goal of a 'Terror-Free Turkey' and are striving to keep the environment of provocation and harassment alive is known to everyone more or less.

It is beneficial to always be prepared and cautious against the open or secret provocations of circles that are intimidated by peace and brotherhood and are therefore waiting in ambush to sow discord.

The Republic is also the protector of the unprotected, a bridge between the past and the future, that which unites the nation and the state, or to put it more accurately, the concrete result of a timeless meaning and content that makes the state a servant to the nation.

The state of the Republic of Turkey, which the dear Atatürk called 'my greatest work,' will of course be eternal.

The global blackmail and pressure mechanics, and the never-ending vicious games of the internal and external network of treason, are doomed to remain void and ineffective against the determination of national unity and solidarity.

The guarantee of this is the noble children and heroic generations of the great Turkish nation, both today and in the future.

Likewise, the assurance of generations with free minds, free consciences, and free wisdom is the compassionate, exceptional, and vigilant willful character of the Republic.

The state of the Republic of Turkey has built its founding basis, its sovereign rights, and its borders on a historical experience approaching a thousand years and on national values.

In this respect, the Republic is not just a change of government or the establishment of a new regime, but a new stage in a continuous socio-cultural development and the nation-building process associated with it, in integrity with the past.

While ensuring equality and participation among our citizens, the Republic has given democracy a function in terms of administration and a human base sociologically.

The Republic will extend into the future with the people, and our rights to independence and our future will not be damaged by any hostile or oppressive plot.

With these feelings and thoughts, I celebrate the October 29 Republic Day of our dear citizens and our great nation; I pray for God's mercy upon the founder of our state, Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the heroes of the National Struggle, and our esteemed martyrs, and I declare with conviction and determination that the Republic will exist forever."
