Banner opened at Erdoğan's rally removed in a hurry
A banner reading 'End the shame of trade with Israel' opened at President Erdoğan's rally in Sakarya was hastily removed by officials.
AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan held a rally in Sakarya today for the local elections.
As the president began his speech at the rally, a few citizens opened a banner that read 'End the shame of trade with Israel'. The banner was removed by officials shortly after. In the footage, it was seen that the citizens were taken away by officials.
WHAT HAD HAPPENED?
Journalist Metin Cihan had determined that trade with Israel via sea routes was continuing, and that among the exporters were names such as Burak Erdoğan and Erkam Yıldırım, as well as some AKP executives.
