Bed base murder solved

In the Kamiloba neighborhood of Büyükçekmece, the landlord, who had not heard from his tenant Fikret Aydın for about 3 weeks, called a locksmith and entered the house. The air conditioner was on, and no one was there. When M.A. left the house and returned last Sunday to have the air conditioner removed, he encountered a foul odor.

Opening the bed base in the bedroom, M.A. discovered the horrific scene. Inside the base, he found the body of Fikret Aydın, who had been missing for 3 weeks.

FRIEND WHO LAST ENTERED AND LEFT WAS TRACKED

During the search of the house, a setup for growing drugs, a shell casing, and numerous bullets were found. Fikret Aydın's body was taken to the Forensic Medicine Institute following an examination. Police determined that Tolga Y. frequently visited Fikret Aydın, who lived alone.

MURDER SUSPECT CAPTURED

Following work by teams from the Public Security Branch Office's Murder Bureau, the murder suspect Tolga Y. was captured in an operation carried out in Gaziosmanpaşa. The suspect confessed to the murder to the police. In his statement, Tolga Y. claimed that the victim had subjected him to psychological violence and said that he shot Aydın with a gun.

According to the information obtained, it was learned that the suspect returned to the house one day after the incident and placed the body inside the bed base. Following the investigation, the suspect Tolga Y. was arrested.
