Turkey experienced a catastrophe on the night of February 6 at 04:17, and more than 50 thousand of our citizens lost their lives in the earthquakes that caused destruction in 11 provinces. Some residential areas were completely leveled due to the devastating earthquake.

Following this major disaster, the 'Turkey One Heart' campaign was organized, and 115 billion liras in aid were collected during the live broadcast. Citizens who wanted to donate to AFAD also sent 9 million SMS messages.

Following the night when a total of 122 billion liras in donations were collected, AFAD announced the amount transferred to earthquake victims.

In a post made on AFAD's social media account, it was stated that donations continue to be delivered to those affected by the Kahramanmaraş-centered earthquakes.

In this context, it was noted that 63 billion 575 million 201 thousand 110 liras out of the 121 billion 940 million 635 thousand 153 liras collected in the donation account have been delivered to disaster victims as housing and cash assistance support.

Cash assistance accounted for 40 billion 500 million 808 thousand liras of the amount spent on disaster victims, while housing expenses accounted for 23 billion 74 million 393 thousand 110 liras.
