Bomb threat at Sabiha Gökçen Airport turns out to be false
A bomb threat made against a Pegasus Airlines plane preparing for an Istanbul-Bahrain flight at Sabiha Gökçen Airport has been found to be false. Following a search by police teams, the aircraft was removed from service and passengers were sent on another plane.

POLICE CONDUCTED AN INVESTIGATION
Police teams conducted an inspection of the Pegasus Airlines passenger plane preparing for the Istanbul-Bahrain flight.
THREAT FOUND TO BE FALSE
Bomb disposal experts, who searched the cabin and cargo hold of the Airbus A320 NEO type aircraft with flight number PC-824, did not find any evidence. It was determined that the threat was false.
The company removed the aircraft from service due to the threat. Passengers will be sent to Bahrain with a delay on another plane.
