Breaking: 4.5 magnitude earthquake in Antalya
A 4.5 magnitude earthquake that occurred off the coast of Antalya's Alanya district caused significant fear among citizens. One resident who rushed to the street said in tears, "It was very bad. It came from underneath, I thought the building was falling on me. It was terrifying. May God never let us experience it again." Meanwhile, the Antalya Governor's Office announced that there have been no reports of any negative incidents reaching institutions so far.
AFAD announced that an earthquake with a magnitude of 4.5 occurred at a depth of 7 kilometers off the coast of the Alanya district at around 16:51. The fact that the earthquake occurred close to the shore caused it to be felt significantly. Citizens in buildings rushed to the streets after the shaking.
A woman on the street described what she experienced in tears with the following words:
