Breaking News... 3 people, including a baby, had lost their lives: Arrests in Ankara fire tragedy
In the investigation into the fire tragedy at a 26-story building in Ankara, which resulted in the deaths of 3 people including a baby, 2 contractors and a site manager have been arrested.
In the 26-story Valero Sitesi located in the Çankaya district of Ankara, 3 people, including a baby, had lost their lives as a result of a fire caused by an electrical fault.
Following the tragedy, 6 out of 9 individuals for whom detention warrants were issued were apprehended. The suspects were referred to the courthouse this morning.
3 PEOPLE ARRESTED
The duty court decided to arrest 2 contractors and the site manager.
While judicial control measures were imposed on 3 individuals, efforts to apprehend the remaining 3 people are ongoing.
