A new release decision has been issued in the ongoing corruption and irregularity investigation into the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM).
Businessman Seyfi Beyaz, one of the shareholders of Beyaz İnşaat who was detained as part of the investigation, provided testimony by benefiting from the provisions of effective remorse.
According to the report by Ekol TV reporter Dilek Yaman Demir, his release was decided upon the request of the prosecutor's office following the testimony provided by Seyfi Beyaz. Beyaz has become one of the individuals released on the grounds that he provided significant information during the investigation process.
