Breaking News: Appeal against releases in TBMM intern harassment case accepted: 3 people re-arrested, 1 wanted!
The Chief Public Prosecutor's Office's appeal against the release of 4 defendants in the case of harassment of interns at the TBMM has been accepted. 3 defendants have been re-arrested, and 1 defendant is being sought.
In the case of 5 defendants, 4 of whom were in custody, who were being tried on allegations of sexual abuse against intern students at the TBMM, the court had decided to release all defendants, taking into account the time spent in detention.
Following the acceptance of the appeal against the releases, 3 defendants were re-arrested.
It was reported that 1 person is being sought.
