Breaking News... Bahçeli's message on the reconciliation process: 'We are reaching the end step by step'

Speaking at his party's group meeting, MHP leader Devlet Bahçeli targeted IYI Party leader Müsavat Dervişoğlu. Bahçeli also gave messages regarding the second reconciliation process, of which he is the architect. Bahçeli stated, "We are approaching the end step by step in the goal of a Turkey without terrorism. The commission established in Parliament will complete its work in a short time. Our issue is for Turkey to hold onto the summit with a new miracle of salvation."

Breaking News... Bahçeli's message on the reconciliation process: 'We are reaching the end step by step'

Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) Chairman Devlet Bahçeli spoke at his party's weekly group meeting at the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM).

Bahçeli began his speech by commemorating the founder of the Republic of Turkey, the Great Leader Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk.

Beginning his speech by commemorating the founder of the Republic of Turkey, the Great Leader Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, Bahçeli stated, "I appreciate and express my gratitude for the decision to have the Mevlidi Şerif (Prophet's birthday eulogy) recited in line with the decisions taken by the Kocaeli Governorship and the Kocaeli Mufti's Office on November 10. I congratulate both our governor and our mufti. Even though 87 years have passed since his passing, Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, who is persistently subjected to unfair and shameless attacks and made the target of false claims, if he had never existed, what would we have heard in our ears instead of the call to prayer (ezan)?"

MESSAGE ON THE PEOPLE'S ALLIANCE

Continuing his speech, Bahçeli said, "The fate of the People (Cumhur) is the fate of the Republic. The People's Alliance will selflessly protect Turkey from deadly obstacles, dark ambitions, and chaos instigators, and will build the future as one and whole with its nation. No one's breath will be enough to get in front of this construction move, this will of dignity."

TARGETING DERVİŞOĞLU

Bahçeli also reacted harshly to IYI Party leader Müsavat Dervişoğlu. Bahçeli said, "Although there is much I could say to the 'converted lion cub' who says to us, 'You have become Imrali, the applause team around you has become Kandil. There is no need for the PKK when you are around,' I look at his words to see if they are words, and I look at the person saying them to see if he is a man."

The full text of Bahçeli's speech is as follows:

"My Dear Fellow Travelers,

Distinguished Ladies and Gentlemen,

Distinguished Representatives of our Press,

At the beginning of our weekly regular Parliamentary group meeting, I greet your esteemed assembly with the utmost respect and affection.

To all our citizens following our meeting today from within the country and abroad, from television screens, radio channels, and social media platforms,

I offer my gratitude and best wishes to all our brothers and sisters who are struggling for a peaceful and honorable life in our regions of heart and culture.

“The National Forces (Kuvayı Milliye) are like a pistol under the pillow of an honest person. It is useful for dying honorably at the very least when there is no hope left to protect one's honor.”

These words are like a concise summary of Mustafa Kemal Pasha's depth of perspective and grasp of the National Struggle.

In his dictionary, there is no mention of the trace of pessimism, and in every line of his military and political corpus, there is no mention of the dark fog of hopelessness.

Under the dim light of a kerosene lamp, in the days when occupation and betrayal were rampant, he set out in the three-story pink building in Şişli, saying the time had come.

And with an excitement that would not look for a free cry from the past to the future, he said the following:

“We will not be hopeless. We are on the edge of the abyss. They want to throw us into the grave alive. One last daring act might save us. We are crossing into Anatolia.”

Journalist Hasan Tahsin Bey, speaking in İzmir Maşatlık on May 14, 1919, was ignited by the spark of that last daring act voiced from Istanbul while saying, “We will not bow down, we will give our lives, but we will not give the homeland.”

The milestones of the life process that united Mustafa with Kemal and ensured the birth of Atatürk from these two names had brought the founder of the Republic of Turkey to the stage of history step by step.

He was aware that he was mortal with his body and eternal with his soul.

He was the living symbol of the understanding of the eternal state and the eternal nation.

With the words, “My humble body will surely turn to dust one day, but the Republic of Turkey will remain forever,” he emphasized the truth he realized and voiced the understanding he was the symbol of.

Without a doubt, without hesitation, without questioning, I can say that Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk is the dignity of the Republic of Turkey and the torch of freedom of the Turkish nation.

This torch will not go out, and his sacred works and trusts that illuminate our free and independent future will never be wasted.

It is my sincere wish that the devilish centers that waste their lives searching for a needle that is not there in a dark haystack, and that dig for hostility and discord in the shadows of the past with this bankrupt madness, will be reformed, come to their senses, and keep their hands and tongues away from Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk.

I appreciate and express my gratitude for the decision taken by the Kocaeli Governorship and the Kocaeli Mufti's Office on November 10 to have the Mevlidi Şerif recited in mosques across the province in accordance with the Atatürk Commemoration Program; I sincerely congratulate both our governor and our mufti.

I pray that God accepts it and finds it acceptable.

Even though 87 years have passed since his passing, if Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, who is persistently subjected to unfair and shameless attacks and made the target of lies and false claims, had never existed, I wonder which occupying flags would wave in our skies, and what would we hear in our ears instead of the call to prayer?

The following words of the late Sezai Karakoç are of a caliber to grasp the issue by its spine: “They will ignore you, you will exist even more.”

As Atatürk is ignored, he will multiply, and as he is attacked, he will surge in national hearts.

His following historical call is always above our heads and eyes:

“The result we have reached today is the reward of the vigilance born from the national disasters suffered for centuries and the blood that waters every corner of this sacred homeland. I entrust this result to the Turkish youth. O Turkish youth! Your primary duty is to preserve and defend Turkish independence and the Turkish Republic forever.”

Indeed, no generation will deviate from the duty of preserving and defending the Republic of Turkey, and the Turkish nation will not let a stain fall on the trust.

On the 87th anniversary of his passing into eternity, I once again commemorate Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, his comrades-in-arms, and our heroic martyrs with mercy, gratitude, and respect, and I say may God be pleased with them all.

Dear Members of Parliament,

We have always said, and we say it again; without patient and solid preparation, without a sincere and sensible temperament, and without setting a healthy and genuine goal, great discoveries cannot be realized, and hearts cannot be entered.

Our goal is to win hearts, to build hearts.

Our goal is to be worthy of the appreciation and preference of our nation.

Our intention is pure, our focal point is Turkey, and our ultimate goal is the Exaltation of the Word of God (İ’la-yi Kelimetullah).

We know and believe that a tree that is not concerned with budding is just wood.

We will have no business or interest with wooden heads or understandings that have not been able to save themselves from being wood.

Every word that has not been soaked in the river of thought is a stone placed in front of us.

Our thought is deep-rooted, our virtue is vast, and our sacrifice is transcendent.

We are lovers of Turkey who know what to do, what means to use, where to reach, and who continue their struggle in this direction with a fierce will.

If we cannot determine and distinguish where we are going, it is inevitable that we will end up bruised and battered on shores we never expected, never hoped for, and never even crossed our minds.

The politics of the Nationalist Movement Party cannot be seen as a politics that is licensed, rented, and mortgaged, like the CHP and its other backups, first and foremost.

The vision of the Nationalist Movement Party cannot be defined in a limited, fragile, and short-range framework, similar to the same political obsolescence.

Whatever our nation says, that is our word.

Whatever our nation wants, our wish is the same.

Those who know the truth and remain silent are as dangerous and as much a source of shame as those who speak without knowing the truth.

There is one truth, and that is that the fate of the Nationalist Movement Party and the People's Alliance is the fate of the nation, the survival and future of the state.

For us to engage in politics by believing the accusations of this and that and being deceived by their fraud is a denial of reason and our 56-year history.

Thank God, we are not deniers; we are the Nationalist Idealist Movement that gives confidence to friends and fear to enemies.

The only owner of the word and decision about us is the great Turkish nation.

The Nationalist Movement Party and the People's Alliance are the strong breath, the loud voice, and the harbinger of the bright future of the Turkish nation.

Circles that go fishing where there is no water, and confirm with their actions that the dirt sedimenting in their hearts spreads hostility, cannot measure up to us, cannot compete with us, and cannot even pass by us.

We are everywhere in Turkey.

We are in every region, every point of our homeland.

Politics without people is like a vein without blood, a body without a heart.

The late Ziya Pasha, one of the important names of the Tanzimat generation, saw and portrayed Anatolia as a geography of misery in some of his writings, even if not in his poems.

However, Anatolia was a gem, the center of national culture.

The Tanzimat minds could never accurately contemplate, or even discuss, this truth.

For this reason, disconnections and dualities were experienced in every field of life.

The first work that moved the boundaries of the setting beyond Istanbul in novels and stories and expanded it towards a village in Anatolia emerged with the work titled “A True Story” written by the late Ahmet Mithat Efendi in 1876.

Again, the novel titled “Happiness” by the same author was a mirror held up to village life, the existence of Anatolia, and the search for peace.

The late Ziya Gökalp thought that the principle of turning to the people, which he accepted as one of the foundations of Turkism, was a necessary understanding for the nation, and that thanks to this, the nation should live a social life integrated within itself.

According to him, the people were the source of national culture.

The late Gökalp persistently encouraged intellectuals to turn to Anatolia after the Second Constitutional Era, and the folk culture ideology he adopted subsequently left deep impacts in the fields of literature, art, politics, and economy.

It should be known that we do not act as our minds blow.

Or our traveling Anatolia inch by inch should not be considered a coincidence.

Anatolia is the witness of everything.

The Nationalist-Idealist Movement is also across the entire surface of the homeland to breathe the air of Anatolia, to listen to the troubles of our people and be a remedy, to ensure unity of hand, unity of power, unity of goal, and unity of future.

Indeed, as of yesterday, we carried out 4,836 programs in total in our 81 provinces and 710 districts with “Good Days My Neighbor” visits and “Your Trouble is Our Trouble” themed conversation meetings.

One can only say 'mashallah' to this tempo, and only pray that God protects it from the evil eye.

Turkish nationalists have a word to say and an answer to share for every problem of Turkey and the Turkish nation, and they must certainly have one.

The great Islamic philosopher Ibn Khaldun, in his famous work Muqaddimah, advised not to believe or trust the suggestions of mentalities that think they are competent and capable of grasping everything, understanding all causes, and knowing all the details of existence.

We are honorable members of a cause that is not about knowing a lot, but about loving a lot, working a lot, believing a lot, and being commissioned and obliged to do much greater things.

Because our strength is the nation, and our guarantee is the state to the end.

We are casting lights on every field of life and getting to the essence of events.

We are constantly active, we are always in the field, and we are patiently weaving our cocoon.

With the symposium titled “Agriculture, Food and Livestock: Situation Analysis, Problem Areas and Solution Proposals” organized by TASAV on October 18, 2025, eye-catching work was done regarding agriculture and livestock, which are the lifeblood of our country and nation.

On November 8, 2025, the Workshop on Innovations in the Turkish Health System with the theme “A New Look at Health, A Strong Step into the Future” was held, and our health policies were handled in a comprehensive and visionary way.

On November 7, 2025, we held our “Mayors Consultation and Evaluation Meeting” and had the opportunity to discuss the latest developments and the effective work they have done with our mayor friends, who are our pride in local governments.

The stance, attitude, and conscious service of our mayors to their provinces, districts, and towns have been registered once again as both a pleasing picture and a promising democratic breakthrough for the future.

In your presence, I sincerely thank all my friends who contributed to our intellectual and political activities, and I share my appreciation and congratulations.

We know that iron that works does not rust, and flowing water does not gather moss.

Hearts full of faith and hearts kneaded with love do not stay behind the age and cannot be dragged behind events.

We are implementing our political work, which we have planned with the meticulousness of a jeweler, one by one.

The Nationalist Movement Party and the People's Alliance are the bright future of Turkey and the security lock of its independence.

We will be in the goal and effort of being one step ahead constantly.

We will not let a single day pass empty.

We will not allow one of our days to be equal to the other.

As the poet said:

Rejoice, my Mehmed, heads are held high!

Rejoice even if we die, even if we return home!

Do not think this wheel will stay on the bump!

Tomorrow is surely ours, it is surely ours.

The sun has risen, the sun has set, eternity is ours.

A blessed future rising on the foundations of the past is only the reward of those who deserve it and are worthy of it.

We know this, we say this, we believe in this.

We are ready to be the dawn of a magnificent future by internalizing a tremendous history, and to write epics that will be told from language to language in the new century of Turkey and the Turkish nation, and we are extremely determined about this.

We will protect the existence of our nation, we will protect its will, we will protect its future, and we will support its unity and brotherhood to the end.

The fate of the People is the fate of the Republic.

This fate has been determined in the Preserved Tablet (Levh-i Mahfuz).

The People's Alliance will selflessly protect Turkey from evil eyes, bad words, deadly obstacles, dark ambitions, and chaos instigators, and will build the future as one and whole with its nation.

No one's breath will be enough to get in front of this construction move, this dignity of will.

We will work, we will strive, we will call, we will surge, we will overflow like waters and floods.

We will resolve, we will reason, we will be patient, we will put in effort, we will struggle, and we will definitely succeed.

We will make the new century the century of Turkey and the Turkish nation.

My Distinguished Friends,

Karabakh had remained in the shadow of captivity and oppression for 30 years.

Azerbaijan's homeland lands had been in mourning for decades.

After the 44-day Patriotic War that took place 5 years ago, justice was served, and Karabakh was united with its real and eternal owner, never to be separated again.

On this occasion, I sincerely celebrate the November 8 Victory Day of the Azerbaijani people, as well as the November 9 National Flag Day, and I respectfully greet dear Azerbaijan and the honorable children of the great Turkish nation.

I wish mercy from God to our dear martyrs who entered the bosom of the earth for a crescent while fighting heroically in the liberation of Karabakh, and I wish our veterans a long and healthy life.

As our late poet Bahtiyar Vahapzade, who passed away on February 13, 2009, said:

Two sons of one mother,

Two arms of one goal,

That is also great, this is also great,

Azerbaijan-Turkey.

Our religion is one, our language is one,

Our moon is one, our year is one,

Our love is one, our path is one,

Azerbaijan-Turkey.

We are one nation, two states,

Same desire, same intention,

Both are Republics,

Azerbaijan-Turkey.

We are closely following the rapid continuation of the reconstruction and revival efforts of Karabakh, and the atmosphere of peace, tranquility, and stability that is blossoming and expanding in the South Caucasus, and we feel happiness from this.

In particular, we think that the Washington Memorandum dated August 8, 2025, established between Azerbaijan and Armenia and strengthening peaceful pursuits, will unlock prejudices over time and resolve disputes, and we believe that the positive steps taken in this framework will yield results.

Our wish is for bilateral meetings and dialogues to be continued with common sense, and for peace efforts to take root and dominate the region.

The ties between Turkey and Azerbaijan are very strong and deep-rooted.

Acting on the reality of two states, one nation, the unifying and embracing mission of Turkish history and culture will add much more strength to our power.

The two shining states of the Turkish Era will not allow dark scenarios, the plots of dirty lobbies, and Zionist-imperialist instigators, and will continue to be one in sorrow and one in victory with determination.

Of course, the national, historical, cultural, and strategic partnership of Turkey and Azerbaijan disturbs some circles.

We know this, we see it, and we watch it from every angle.

We are aware of who produces the poison presented as Zamzam water.

Whatever center, state, or power center lies in ambush, looks askance, prepares traps, or swings a dagger at the sovereign rights, historical and political gains of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Turkey is an adversary and is destined to experience defeat.

The desires of those who try to create dark clouds over our friendship and brotherhood will remain in their throats.

In this context, no one should think that we do not see or hear Israel's games, strategic and political maneuvers in the region.

With its active and multi-dimensional foreign policy, Turkey is coming to the fore and taking a leading role in the category of regional countries on one hand, and in the catalog of global states on the other.

For both the Turkish world and Islamic societies to exist in peace, tranquility, and prosperity, and for chronic and conjunctural problems to be solved in a broad environment of consensus, it will first be possible with sincere and honest solidarity and respect for mutual rights and interests.

With the strength of political, economic, and commercial ties; and with the motto of unity in language, thought, and work, we have no doubt that the coming era will be the Turkish Era.

Humanity has become tired due to tensions and polarizations.

Zionist vandalism, which commits war and genocide crimes, is being protested and condemned worldwide.

Humanitarian aid that should reach Gaza is being blocked.

Lack of water, hunger, and lack of medicine are affecting the Palestinian people as regrettably and continuously as the brutal operations.

Turkey's high-bar, multi-faceted, dynamic, balanced, realistic, and at the same time moral and human-based diplomatic contacts and foreign policy vision directly serve the emergence of a belt of peace and tranquility around us.

After Azerbaijan-Armenia, the conclusion of the war between Russia and Ukraine with a ceasefire and peace,

The establishment of a permanent ceasefire and peace in Gaza,

Likewise, the sharpening and flourishing of peaceful desires in Africa and other geographies,

The institutionalization of internal peace, brotherhood, and unity with political and territorial integrity in Iraq and Syria is the only key to a livable world.

My Distinguished Friends,

Our goal of “A Turkey without Terrorism, A Region without Terrorism” will be our greatest trump card and our most vigilant power in the new century.

As Turkey gets rid of its burdens, some are constantly moving to a new phase in nonsense, and to a higher level in lies and slander.

Although there is much I could say to the 'converted lion cub' who says to us, 'You have become Imrali, the applause team around you has become Kandil. There is no need for the PKK when you are around,' I look at his words to see if they are words, and I look at the person saying them to see if he is a man.

In both cases, I definitely cannot see a human figure to be taken seriously or a sentence structure that I would examine carefully in front of me.

How beautifully Hz. Mevlana expressed it; “Do not consider a person to consist only of what you see, look for them in what you cannot see. The inside is the picture of truth, the outside is just scenery.”

Otherwise, what does it matter if we look for the truth inside a person or not.

Those who know, know the cauldrons of discord boiling inside these types, and what do those who don't know, know about the faulty and damaged sides overflowing from their outside.

The Inquisition's oppression made Galileo say that the world did not turn.

But when he went outside, what he said echoed on the horizon of history: Do whatever you want, the world turns and will turn.

No matter what the owners of well-covered bad and crippled ambitions do, no matter what they say, the dawn of a Turkey without Terrorism will break, and the saplings planted in our hearts will soon bear fruit.

As a thinker said; “In a world where everyone is aware of everything, yet does nothing, and appears to be in solidarity with everything but does not even move from their place,” we will swear by God that we will not allow masked faces, ill-intentioned political merchants, and fools trying to harness the horse behind the carriage to hold onto our skirts or block our path.

There is a concept in history called Babylonian advisors.

According to what is said, there were no doctors in Babylon.

Those who had illnesses would gather in the square and beg for advice from passersby for the illnesses they had caught.

Wealthy businessmen would give advice at every opportunity to gain reputation.

Some would boast of their personal experience, and some would talk just for the sake of talking.

However, it was never seen that a remedy was produced for any ailment in Babylon.

Because in Babylon, the ease of giving vain advice instead of reason for the solution of the problem, and the irresponsibility of shaking empty and holding full, were dominant.

We have had our fill of Babylonian advisors.

Let those who oppose a Turkey without Terrorism confess; should terrorism end or not?

Should national unity and brotherhood seal the new century of the Republic or not?

While the cards are being redistributed at the global and regional political table, should we be the menu, or should we sign a brand new national epic?

Let those who fall into such negligence that it reaches the level of treason explain it so we can learn.

Intelligence has limits, but there is no threshold or limit to mental deficiency.

It is futile to explain anything to a crowd that knows no boundaries or thresholds, and it is in vain to show them anything.

Because for us to compete with their intelligence level, or to get results from the persuasion efforts we would make by descending to their bottom level, is only an impossible dream.

We are chasing not dreams, but sacred goals.

Patrona Halil had murdered Nevşehirli Damat Ibrahim Pasha, who was claimed to be aiming to start our age of enlightenment.

Mahmud I had grabbed Patrona Halil by his hair and said the following while hitting his head against the funeral stone: “When this malignant head is gone, light will cover the country.”

That search for light, which approaches 300 years, has finally appeared on our horizon line.

We have absolutely no tolerance for a freak and fabricated political mentality that will veil this light.

We also have no choice but to draw the roadmap of the future with the experiences of the past.

Moreover, the more we look at the past, the more we can see ahead.

Societies or nations that possess vastness of spirit and self-confidence are brave enough to know how to face their past when the time comes.

The Turkish nation has been subjected to economic pressures, diplomatic threats, and political impositions for nearly two hundred years.

Still, the longing for a more peaceful life, a safer society, a more stable economy, and a stronger state has remained like an ember in national hearts, waiting for the time to ignite.

Even in periods when our noble nation was poor, tired, weary, exhausted, stagnant, and destitute, it never lost its hope and did not show the slightest deviation from its sacred goals.

The strategic calculations of cruel colonialists have unraveled like socks against giant faith and have toppled like sandcastles.

Our decent-tempered people have endured every difficulty and every hardship to grow their bread, boil their pot, find their work, and establish and ensure their economic security.

However, our political, historical, and cultural existence has been harassed by imperialist embargoes and sanctions and has been constantly subjected to destruction.

For this reason, we must correctly analyze and interpret the inside story and the crucial points of the economic and political problems we are experiencing.

It is impossible for eclectic and hesitant interpretations, or evaluations fed by prejudice, riveted by political ambition, and deepened by hostility, to take us anywhere or open the door to healthy results.

This country belongs to all of us.

It is the earthly paradise of every one of our people living on this homeland.

Using a clean language, establishing empathy, being virtuous, and handling issues from a broad perspective is the common responsibility of political parties first, and then everyone.

Competing in our hatred and anger by accusing each other and treating each other as enemies is the greatest evil that can be done to Turkey.

The price of deviating from the line of common sense and sound heart will be heavy for everyone.

We are approaching the end step by step in the goal of a Turkey without Terrorism.

The commission established in Parliament will complete its work in a short time.

Our issue is for Turkey to hold onto the summit with a new miracle of salvation.

Our issue is the homeland, the nation, the state, and for 86 million to be one heart under the red flag.

Meanwhile, I say to the political parasites who try to measure up to us on the subject of nationalism, and on the subject of love for homeland and nation;

Grasping the meaning is not necessary for this small mind,

Because this scale cannot bear that weight.

With these thoughts, before I end my words, I wish mercy from God to our brothers who lost their lives in the fire that occurred in a perfume warehouse located in Dilovası, Kocaeli, condolences to their families, and healing to our injured brothers.

I greet you all with my respects, and I wish you a week full of success.

Thank you, be well, and be entrusted to Almighty God."
