AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has spoken for the first time regarding the remarks of his alliance partner, MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli, who supported CHP leader Özgür Özel's demand that 'the trials be broadcast on TRT'.
Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) Chairman Devlet Bahçeli, in his speech at his party's group meeting, supported CHP leader Özgür Özel regarding the broadcast of trials concerning CHP municipalities on TRT.
Bahçeli had stated, "The opposition had requested that the hearings be broadcast live. We also expect this expectation to be evaluated in a reasonable and legitimate manner."
AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan answered journalists' questions today after his party's group meeting.
Erdoğan was reminded of Bahçeli's remarks about TRT. In response to this question, Erdoğan replied, "If he used such an expression, in my opinion, it is a very good appreciation."
