Breaking News... FETÖ operation in 60 provinces: 371 detention warrants issued!

A FETÖ operation was carried out across 60 provinces, centered in İzmir. Detention warrants were issued for 371 suspects as part of the operation.

In the investigations coordinated by the İzmir Chief Public Prosecutor's Office and carried out by teams from the İzmir Provincial Police Department's Counter-Terrorism Branch and Intelligence Branch, it was determined that 'financing' (TL, Dollars, or gold) was collected by making it appear as if food sales were being made to individuals located abroad or within the country who, or whose first-degree relatives, had previously been processed for being members of FETÖ. It was determined that these collected funds were provided as financial support by being sent to individuals who were also members of the organization, under the guise of food parcels.

A simultaneous operation was launched at 05:00 in 60 provinces, centered in İzmir, to apprehend a total of 371 suspects identified as providing financial support to the organization within the scope of the investigation.

A large number of suspects were detained as part of the operation.
