Aydın Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Özlem Çerçioğlu, who resigned from the CHP, has arrived at the AKP Headquarters. Her new 'following' list on her Instagram account drew attention. CHP's Ali Mahir Başarır stated, "It is a shameful situation! May God not let anyone fall into this situation."
Aydın Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Özlem Çerçioğlu has become the number one agenda item in politics.
Announcing her resignation from the CHP along with 3 other mayors in a statement today, Çerçioğlu will officially join the AKP today. Çerçioğlu went to the party's headquarters for the 24th anniversary of the AKP's founding.
After resigning from the CHP, Çerçioğlu updated her following list on her Instagram account. It was observed that in addition to the Aydın Metropolitan Municipality accounts, Çerçioğlu began following AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and the Presidency.
CHP Group Deputy Chairman Ali Mahir Başarır shared Çerçioğlu's new following list and reacted with the words, "It is a shameful situation! May God not let anyone fall into this situation."
