DECISION FROM US COURT ENDING THE CASE
The federal judge presiding over the case in the US accepted the application made by the US Department of Justice and ruled for the dismissal of the criminal case against Halkbank.
With this decision, the file, which was opened in 2019 and continued through various legal processes for approximately nine years, has been closed. According to Reuters, the court had previously evaluated the fulfillment of the conditions determined within the scope of the settlement reached between the parties and had stayed the process for 90 days. Following the completion of this period, it was decided to dismiss the case.
