Breaking News... Interior Minister Yerlikaya: 309 terrorists neutralized in the last four months

Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya met with Istanbul representatives of media organizations as part of the Ministry of Interior media meetings.

Minister Yerlikaya announced at the meeting that in all operations carried out over the last 120 days—1,132 in urban areas and 54,598 in rural areas—a total of 309 terrorists were neutralized, with 38 killed, 4 wounded, 208 captured alive, and 59 surrendering.

SO-CALLED HIGH-LEVEL TERRORISTS NEUTRALIZED

Minister Yerlikaya continued his remarks as follows;

In internal security operations, a total of 25 so-called high-level terrorists were neutralized, including 2 in the red category, 6 in the orange category, and 17 in the gray category. Of these, 20 are members of the separatist terrorist organization, 2 are FETÖ members, 2 are HTS members, and 1 is an MLKP member.

38 ORGANIZED MAFIA-TYPE CRIME GANGS DISMANTLED

2,874 suspects were detained in 378 operations. While 702 suspects were arrested, 594 suspects were released under judicial control conditions. Within this scope, 38 mafia-type organized crime gangs, 7 of which were national and 31 local, were dismantled.
