Breaking News: Massive operation in 81 provinces! 3,126 people apprehended

ÇEMBER-22 operations were carried out across 81 provinces targeting individuals who are wanted and have outstanding arrest warrants.

As a result of the operations, which have been ongoing for 5 days, 3,126 people were apprehended.

Minister of Interior Ali Yerlikaya shared the following information regarding the operation:

“The duration for which the apprehended individuals have been wanted:

3,093 individuals wanted for 0-5 years,

21 individuals wanted for 5-10 years,

12 individuals wanted for 10 years or more were apprehended in the “ÇEMBER-22” operations.

The crimes for which the apprehended individuals were wanted:

497 individuals for theft,

199 individuals for fraud,

87 individuals for robbery,

65 individuals for homicide,

92 individuals for sexual offenses,

561 individuals for narcotics offenses,

281 individuals for KOM (Smuggling, Organized Crime), and including those apprehended for other crimes, a total of 3,126 individuals have been delivered to justice.”
