Breaking News: Mine collapse in Ankara! 13 workers injured, 2 in critical condition
A collapse occurred during the night shift at the Hırkatepe Mine in the Nallıhan district of Ankara. 13 workers were injured in the incident, and 2 workers in critical condition were transferred to Ankara for treatment.
A collapse occurred at the Hırkatepe mine, which is part of the Çayırhan facility of the Coal Enterprises Joint Stock Company (KİAŞ) operating in the Nallıhan district of Ankara. It was reported that 13 workers were injured in the incident, with 2 of them in critical condition.
According to the information received, the workers on the 00:00-08:00 night shift were trapped under the collapse that occurred around 03:00.
Upon notification, numerous ambulances were dispatched to the scene. The injured workers were taken to Beypazarı State Hospital after receiving initial medical intervention.
The 2 workers in critical condition were transported by ambulance to Ankara for further examination and treatment.
